Meet Ben Weber

Proud Republican, Husband, and Small Business Attorney Running for State Representative in Ohio’s 86th House District (Union & Marion counties).

Ben Weber is a conservative fighter who knows how to get results. He’s running to lower property taxes, fight for families, and advance a more affordable future that puts Ohio First. Ben believes state government should work for all Ohioans — not against them — and he’s ready to stand up for working families, small businesses, and communities across Union and Marion Counties.

A proud graduate of The Ohio State University and Capital University Law School, Ben has built his career on turning conservative principles into action. He helped elect and later served as a judicial staffer to multiple conservative Ohio Supreme Court Justices, gaining firsthand experience in upholding the Constitution and the rule of law. Ben also worked in the Statehouse for Republican lawmakers, where he helped draft legislation that was eventually enacted into law — including some of the strongest Second Amendment protections in Ohio’s history. He played a key role in advancing legislation to protect religious freedom, defend the sanctity of life, and cut unnecessary regulations that burden job creators.

Before practicing law, Ben worked for innovative companies and job creators like Nucor Steel, giving him firsthand experience with how government policies impact manufacturing, small businesses, and everyday working families. Those lessons drive his commitment to fight for freedom and opportunity across Ohio.

Today, Ben uses his legal background to stand up for the people who make Ohio work — defending small businesses, family farms, and property owners against government overreach. He’s fought to cut through red tape, protect private property rights, and help local employers and families push back when the government goes too far. Ben is 100% pro-life, a steadfast defender of the Second Amendment, and a strong advocate for parental rights and school choice — always standing on principle and fighting for Ohio’s families, faith, and freedom.

Ben lives in Union County with his wife, Emily. Together, they share a deep love for their community, their faith, and the conservative values that make Ohio strong.
